Add COM port

In the control panel, double click on the 'Add Hardware' icon.

When the 'Add Hardware Wizard' opens, click 'Next >'

Select 'Yes, I have already connected the hardware' and click 'Next >'.

Select 'Add a new hardware device' and click 'Next >'.

Select 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)' and click 'Next >'.

Select 'Ports (COM & LPT)' and click 'Next >'.

From the 'Model list, select 'Communications Port' and click 'Next >'.

Click 'Next >'.

Click 'Finish'.
