DISABLE POWER MANAGEMENT

Win98 & Win ME:

Select Start => Settings => Control Panel

Click the Power Management icon

Select System standby: Never

Select Turn off monitor: Never

Select Turn off hard disks: Never

Click Apply => OK

Windows XP:

Select Start => Control Panel

Click the Power Options icon

Select Turn off monitor: Never

Select Turn off hard disks: Never

Select System standby: Never

Select System hibernates: Never  (if activated)

Click Apply => OK
