Disable Preview Pane in Mail Programs

Some viruses can be activated by simply being displayed in the preview pane of your e-mail program. To disable the preview pane:

Microsoft Outlook

Select View => Preview Pane

Outlook Express

Select View => Layout...

Uncheck the Show preview pane box, press Apply and then OK
