Add a signature to your outgoing mails

Outlook Express Text Option          Outlook Express File Option         Microsoft Outlook Text Option        Microsoft Outlook File Option

Outlook Express   (Text Option):

  1. Select 'Tools'  => 'Options'

 

  1. Select the 'Signatures' tab and then select 'New' and then 'Text' radio button. Type in the signature that you want to be appended to all your mails, and then press 'Apply' (Note: If this is not your fist signature, ensure you have set it as the default before pressing 'Apply'!).

Outlook Express  (File Option):

  1. Create a text file containing the signature that you want to append to your outgoing e-mails. Save the file to safe area on your hard drive (remember the location!).

  2. In Outlook Express, select 'Tools'  => 'Options' (Step1 above)

  3. Select the 'Signatures' tab and then select the 'File' radio button.

 

  1. Using the 'Browse...' feature, navigate to where you saved the file you created. Highlight the file and press 'Open'.

 

  1. Press 'Apply' => 'OK' (Note: If this is not your fist signature, ensure you have set it as the default before pressing 'Apply'!).

Microsoft Outlook (Text Option):

  1. Select 'Tools'  => 'Options'

 

  1. Select the 'Mail Format' tab and then press 'Signatures'.

 

  1. Click 'New...'.

 

  1. Give your signature a name, click on the 'Start with a blank signature' radio button and press 'Next >'.

 

  1. Type in the signature that you want to be appended to all your mails, and then press 'Finish' => 'OK' => 'Apply' => 'OK'.

Microsoft Outlook (File Option):

  1. Create a .htm or .html file containing the signature that you want to append to your outgoing e-mails. Save the file to safe area on your hard drive (remember the location!).

  2. Follow steps 1 - 3 from the Microsoft Outlook Text Option above.

  3. Give your signature a name and click on the 'Use this file as a template:'.

 

  1. Using the 'Browse...' feature, navigate to where you saved the file you created. Highlight the file and press 'Select' => 'Next' => 'Finish' => 'OK' => 'Apply' => 'OK'.
